Lori Call identifies opportunities to collaborate with the city and surrounding communities and develops long-term, positive relationships with community, business and government leaders. She also serves as the university’s primary liaison with the Boulder City Council, the city manager’s office and Boulder County commissioners. Call has more than 20 years of local government and business leadership experience and previously served as senior director of policy and transportation at the Boulder Chamber. Previously, she served as a director of communications and in other staff roles for the Leeds School of Business over a 10-year period and as a strategic communicator and community engagement lead for Kaiser Permanente for 15 years. 
 
Call earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications and public relations from CU Boulder and a master’s in business administration and marketing from CU Denver.
